Smartphone Screen Future Probably Made From Safir
According to analyst following, all major mobile phone manufacturer is considering action in replacing Cornng Gorilla Glass screen smartphone with sapphire.
Material toughness possessed the type of stone that is the primary consideration of the manufacturers, said Eric Virey, Yole Developpement analyst of IT.
Safir reported to have toughness 3x better than Gorilla Glass and also 3 times more scratch resistant. But there are sentences like there are goods prices, sapphire has a value which is more expensive than Gorilla Glass.

"I believe that some (producers) will begin testing and releasing some high-end smartphones that use sapphire in 2013," said Virey.
